About Anna Voloshyna
Photography With a Point of View
I’m Anna Voloshyna — a commercial photographer based in the Netherlands, creating product, brand and creative photography for clients across Europe. I combine artistic thinking with careful production to make images that feel distinctive, intentional and genuinely connected to what they represent.
About Me
Where It Started
I have always been drawn to making things.
My background in art, photography and architecture taught me to look carefully at composition, colour, form and the relationship between objects and their surroundings. Before photography became my profession, I used self-initiated creative projects as a way to experiment and develop my own visual language.
That curiosity never really disappeared. It is still the part of photography I enjoy most: starting with an idea and finding a visual way to make it exist.
My Experience
I started working professionally as a photographer nine years ago, initially focusing largely on portraits.
Over time, my work moved increasingly towards product photography, brand content and more concept-driven creative productions. Products gave me a completely different space to experiment with light, materials, colour, styling and visual storytelling—and gradually became the centre of my commercial work.
Today I work as a full-time photographer from my own studio in the Netherlands, while also producing projects on location across Europe.
My Vision
I want every project to have a personality.
A product should not become just another object placed in front of a camera, and a brand should not be reduced to whatever visual trend happens to be popular at the moment. I prefer to understand what makes something particular and then build the photography around it.
That matters even more in the age of AI. I see AI as a powerful and incredibly fast image-making tool, but not as a replacement for the process I value in photography.
Photography requires an idea to meet something real: a physical subject, light, materials, people, imperfections, preparation and hundreds of small decisions. For me, that deliberate process—and the work behind it—is where photography becomes art.
Work With Me
If you are looking for someone who simply needs to reproduce a reference image, I may not always be the right photographer.
But if you want someone who will look at your product as something with its own character, question the obvious solution and search for an approach that feels specific to your brand, we will probably work well together.
Bring the product, the challenge or even an unfinished idea. We can develop the rest from there.
What You Can Expect Working With Me
Creative Direction, Not Just Execution
I can help develop the idea, mood, visual references, styling and overall photographic direction—not only operate the camera.
Creativity With Commercial Purpose
An image can be artistic and still have a job to do. Website layouts, ecommerce, advertising, social media and campaign formats are considered while the creative direction is being developed.
Studio and European Production
Product projects can be produced in my studio, including remotely, while business, lifestyle and larger creative productions can be organised on location throughout Europe.
A Personalised Approach for Every Brand
I do not believe every product needs the same trendy background, lighting setup or styling formula. The visual direction should begin with the product itself.
Skilled Team at Your Services
From the first conversation through production, retouching and final delivery, everything is performed at top level.
Trusted With More Than the Photograph
The collaborations I value most are the ones where I become involved in the thinking behind the project—not only the moment the camera comes out.
100%
This is how hard we will work to deliver amazing results.
Have a Project in Mind?
Tell me what you are building, launching or changing—and what you want people to see in it. If the project calls for thoughtful photography, a distinctive visual direction and somebody willing to care about the details, I’d love to hear about it.
