The Challenge

Highly competitive visual landscape in food delivery

Customers scrolling through delivery apps or restaurant websites often make decisions within seconds, with photography playing a major role in determining whether a product feels desirable and worth ordering.

Arredondos required a refreshed visual identity that would:

  • Increase appetite appeal across delivery platforms.

  • Present dishes consistently across all channels.

  • Support advertising and promotional campaigns.

  • Strengthen brand recognition.

  • Create a long-term library of reusable visual assets.

The imagery also needed to capture the vibrancy and energy associated with Mexican cuisine while remaining refined enough to fit seamlessly within the wider brand identity.

Project Objectives

The project focused on five key goals:

  1. Refresh the visual identity of the brand.

  2. Create standardised menu photography for digital ordering channels.

  3. Produce versatile content for websites and social media.

  4. Develop promotional assets for advertising campaigns.

  5. Expand the content library with video assets suitable for modern marketing channels.

Photography Strategy

Creating Appetite Appeal

Food photography succeeds when viewers can almost taste the image.

The creative direction focused heavily on texture, freshness, colour contrast and ingredient quality to create immediate appetite appeal while maintaining authenticity.

Lighting and styling decisions were carefully balanced to make dishes look inviting without becoming artificial or overly manipulated.

Celebrating Mexican Cuisine Through Colour

Mexican cuisine naturally provides rich visual opportunities through colourful ingredients, fresh herbs, citrus accents and handcrafted presentation.

Rather than minimising these characteristics, the visual direction embraced them.

Fresh greens, warm reds and vibrant ingredients became an important part of communicating flavour and freshness before customers even read the menu descriptions.

Building Visual Consistency

One of the biggest challenges for delivery businesses is maintaining consistency between websites, delivery applications, social media and advertising materials.

A unified photographic approach ensured every image felt part of the same visual system regardless of where customers encountered the brand.

Video

Videography for Marketing Campaigns

Alongside photography, the project included promotional video production designed for use across social media campaigns, paid advertising and cinema advertising.

While photography captures individual products, video allows brands to communicate atmosphere, preparation processes and movement that contribute to stronger emotional engagement.

For delivery-focused businesses competing primarily online, video content often becomes an important complement to still imagery.

Deliverables

The final production included:

  • Signature dish photography.

  • Beverage photography.

  • Delivery menu imagery.

  • Social media content assets.

  • Advertising visuals.

  • Promotional video materials.

  • Standardised catalogue imagery.

  • Website banners and hero visuals.

The resulting visual library continues to provide Arredondos with versatile content that supports both daily operations and long-term marketing initiatives.

Results

Impact on Brand & Marketing

The completed image library allowed Arredondos to establish a more cohesive and professional presence across every customer touchpoint.

The content continues to support:

  • Website conversion optimisation.

  • Social media engagement.

  • Paid advertising campaigns.

  • Delivery platform listings.

  • Seasonal promotions and new product launches.

More importantly, the project transformed photography from a one-time production expense into a reusable marketing asset capable of supporting the business for years beyond the original shoot.

Client Testimonial

What the client says about the collaboration and project outcomes

Anna is an excellent photographer.

But she is also a real Creative (with a capital C!!) and someone who can really drive the concept, branding and commercial side of the photos. This was invaluable to us for our ecommerce proposition. She was meticulous in planning and you felt like she had the greatest command of all elements of the shoot and really put forward a point of view for the whole look and feel of our ecommerce, not jus...
